Wendi Blackmon

My name is Wendi Blackmon. I finished my B.S. degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from Athens State University in May 2002 with a middle school math endorsement for grades 4-6. I began teaching in August 2002 at Brookhaven Middle School in Decatur, AL. Since that time I have taught almost everything from sixth grade math through AP Calculus. I have been employed by the Marshall County School System since August 2004 where I have currently been teaching at Brindlee Mountain High School since 2009. 

I have been employed by Snead State Community College continuously since August 2012 as an adjunct professor. I have taught Math 091, Math 098, Math 100, Math 125 (Calculus 1), and Math 126 (Calculus 2).

I received my M.A. in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of Alabama in July 2005. I am currently pursuing my Ed.S. degree in Secondary Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a target graduation of summer 2017.
