Marshall County Youth Leadership (MCYL) is a program involving juniors from Arab, Brindlee Mountain, Albertville, Asbury, Boaz, DAR, Douglas and Guntersville High Schools. The students learn more about the government and the resources available in Marshall County as well as experience opportunities to develop their leadership skills.

Throughout the year, the students participate in programs featuring healthcare, education, leadership, public safety, communication and public speaking, etiquette, industry and government.

They sponsor children through the Marshall County Christmas Coalition as their service project, and they travel to Montgomery to visit our State Capitol and governmental officials.

The MCYL program is a collaborative effort between MCLCAA and Snead State Community College.
