Of primary importance to the media center is its flexibility for student access whether individually, in small groups, or with classes. Of additional importance is the media center's growth as it expands its instructional capabilities and resource holdings. Hours: Open access begins at 7:00 a. m. and continues through 2:45 p. m. Classes are flexibly scheduled according to need. Circulation: Books are checked out for five school days and may be renewed as needed; however, should an item be in popular demand, the student needs to show serious intent in reading completion. Fines are $0.10/day as set by the Marshall County Board of Education. Students with overdue books or late charges will be able to utilize the library media center as soon as their obligations are met. Requests: Both students and teachers are encouraged to submit requests for books. Commemorative Books: Parents, students, and teachers are more than welcome to see Mrs. Warren about puchasing and dedicating books to the library media center. Commemorations may be made for graduations, birthdays, and other special recognitions.
